Results 26 June: Team 2 bt Team 1, 40-32; Team 4 bt Team 3, 46-40; Team 6 bt Team 5, 46-32. Draw for 3 July: Team 1 vs Team 3, Team 2 vs Team 5, Team 4 vs Team 6. Playing order 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 6. Juniors: Ten juniors travelled to a WanganuiManawatu Ruapehu zone junior tournament at Taihape on Sunday 29 June. Gareth Nixon, Nicholas Cranston, Megan Laurenson, John Seifert, Jackie Laurenson, Amanda Cranston, Sam Weller, Ryan Ennis, David Thrupp and Lewis Deadman between them recorded 12 wins, 4 draws and 12 losses. Lewis Deadman and Ryan Ennis were in the team that ended up winners overall. David Thrupp managed not to lose any of his three games. All the players thoroughly enjoy ed the tournament and are looking forward to the next one which Ohakune is hosting on Thursday 10 July which is in the first week of the school holidavs.
