Waiouru
• On Thursday evening a local woman was charged with driving with excess breath alcohol. • There were two crashes on Sunday. Early that morning a car rolled near the summit of the Desert Road. In the evening a cow was killed when it walked onto the road and was hit by a car and was then run over by a following truck. Both vehicles were damaged.
