Volleyball

In the first game played on Sunday night the Dreamers, a team consisting of Ruapehu College staff, easily won the first two sets but lost the third one when Ruapehu College Girls B team lifted themselves to win 17-15. Similarly in the second game McCarthy's won the first two sets, although they were taken to deuce and eventually won the second set 1 614. The Ruapehu College Girls A team rallied and after being 12-4 down in the third set, came back to win 15-12, thanks to some brilliant scoring by Ei Leen Voon. McCarthy's took out the fourth set to win the game 3 sets to 1 . Tomb Raiders won the third game against Winpulp 3-0 and when they get their combinations working

they're going to be a hard team to beat. The T elecom team beat the Just Us team four sets to nil in the fourth game and the fifth game was won by the Try Hards 2- 1 over Buckskin who started to come back in the later stages of the game but it was a matter of too little too late. The draw for Queen's Birthday weekend is as follows: 6.40 pm: Winpulp vs Try Hards; 7.20 pm: Just Us vs McCarthy's; 8.00 pm: Buckskin vs Dreamers; 8.40 pm: Telecom vs Tomb Raiders. The Ruapehu College Girls teams will play each other during the week at college.
