Te Waka Huia
Leaders: Ngapo and Pimia Wehi Established in 1981 and based in Auckland, Te Waka Huia is dedicated to preserving the songs and darices which have been an intrinsic part of Maori tribal activity, enhancing special events and emotions such as the ceremonies of welcome, mourning, love, war or friendship.
