• Last Monday 19 May, two men and six women involved in the Kaimanawa horse protest were arrested for trespass when they refused to leave Army land. • Overnight Friday a bicycle was unlawfully taken from a house in Tangiwai. The bike is an Intercity ladies mountain bike coloured

red. • There was one crash attended during the week. This was about 10 kilometres south of Waiouru. A vehicle lost control and rolled. Both occupants had to be taken to hospital. • On Wednesday evening, 14 May, a car parked outside the Army gymnasium was broken into and a purple day pack and contents stolen as well as six CD's. • Another counterfeit $100 note was presented to a local business. • On Tuesday a car crashed into the back of a truck stopped at the railway crossing. A passenger had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries. • Early Friday morning, 16 May, a truck rolled on the Desert Road and later that morning a car lost control and rolled onto its side on SH49 about two kilometres out of Waiouru. The driver received neck injuries and was taken to hospital.
