The Ohakune Volleyball Club competition got off to a good start on Sunday with ,a good turnout of players of various skill levels from A and B grade players to complete novices. The following are the results of the first round: Telecom bt Ruapehu College A, 3-0; Just Us bt Ruapehu College B, 2-1; Buckskin bt Tomb Raiders, 2-1; Dreamers bt Winpulp, 3-0; McArthy's won by default. The draw for Sunday' s games are as follows: Dreamers vs Ruapehu College B , 6.40pm; McArthy ' s vs Ruapehu College A,
7.20pm; Winpulp vs Tomb Raiders, 8.00pm; Telecom vs Just Us, 8.40pm; Buckskin vs Clancy's Maybe, 9.20pm. Team captains are reminded that registration fees are due and must be paid before your teams take the court for their next game.
