Hardware sales back in Rivendell's services
Rivendell Computing was established in the Waimarino district by David and Jenny Waldron nine years ago and has supported many local businesses in their use of computer technology over that time. Rivendell Computing sold many computer s in the early years, all of which the company has continued to support and upgrade. The original company focus was computer training and the development of computer software which could be marketed throughout New Zealand. These aims have been achieved with over 25 computer courses run in the Waimarino and a range of Rivendell Computing software products now being used by major businesses throughout the North and South Islands. In order to balance their hightech lifestyle with something more down to earth, David and Jenny started an export cut flower business, "Cold Mountain Flow-
ers", five years ago, which they will continue to run. Due to the focus on the above aims, David was unable to continue addressing the needs of many local businesses for a friendly and fairly priced computer services company. Now, Rivendell Computing is returning to hardware saies and support. To make this new focus achievable, Matthew Evetts, a young computer 'whizz' has been employed, and he brings to the company a wealth of knowledge in Windows '95, Multimedia PCs, and desktop publishing. Despite his youthful looks, David has over 20 years' computer experience with expertise in systems analysis, programming, hardware installation as well as talking on the phone! State-of-the-art computer hardware will be available from Rivendell Computing, together with full support, software saies and installation, consultancy, training and custom software development.
