• During the week, poliee attended burglaries at addresses in Hukarora Road, Duncan Street and Totara Street. There were also two attempted burglaries to shops in Cedar Mall overnight Thursday. • A rubbish bin in Goldfinch Street was set on fire on Saturday evening and earlier in the week there was some further vandalism at the Christie Park toilets. This appears to be the work of young children and poliee remind parents that they should be supervising young children at the park. • Poliee attended an accident where a car rolled on Raetihi Road, on Saturday afternoon. Waiouru • On Friday a wallet and hat were stolen from an unlocked car in Weir Terrace. • Several traffic infringement notices were issued. Poliee also wam motorists to be aware of the shaded areas on the Desert Road which tend to ice up on frosty momings.
