Scouts at work

Making use of all helpers, Group Chairman Mike Richards painted the buildings at the Waiouru Scout and Guide Den with the assistance of (from left) his daughter Alysha Richards, Girl Guide Jamie Coombes and his son, Cub Scout Chad Richards. Half a dozen adults and several children turned up for the working bee at the Waiouru Scout and Guide Den last Saturday. Paint and spouting had been purchased with the donation from the Oasis Hotel Pub Charities and group chairman Mike Richards and his helpers completed a good day's work. With only the roof to finish before the winter Mr Richards thought that the job would only take another day.
