Drain for Seddon Street to be built
A drain for Seddon I Street, Raetihi, outside the I sale yards is to be conI structed as a fully-piped I stormwater drain with I cesspits and manholes, the I Waimarino Community I Board has decided. I Abudgetof$ 15,000 was I available for the work, but I this would have allowed I for an open drain only, I which would have led to I problems similar to those I experienced with the Shan- * I non Street, Ohakune, drain. I The extra work would take I the cost to $24,000. I The board agreed that I the work should be carried I out, with the extra funds I needed coming from the ■ Seddon Street footpath I project (Stage Two).
