Course of change at REAP
If you want to learn how others see you and learn better ways to deal with people, a Ruapehu Rural Education Activities Programme (REAP) course may be the answer. "Behaviour is learned and that which is learned can be unlearned and relearned," according to tutor Jaque Aldridge who will be taking the course on developing leadership potential. "In other words, you have a choice at all times in how you want to be. You also have a choice as to how you want to feel and, if you want to change, you can do this." She said the course, running in April, enables people to
understand the way in which they relate to others. It also shows you how others see them. The objectives* of the course are: • To see how others see us. • To understand how we impact on those we work with. • To improve personal relationships. • To realise that we can change if we choose. • To improve accountability and personal responsibility in our job. • To understand roles. • To identify leadership potential. Mrs Aldridge is well known as a speaker in the field of personal and professional development. For more information, contact REAP.
