More members needed

Three members of the Waiouru Information and Drop-In Centre committee have recently been posted out of Waiouru and another two people will shortly be shifting out of the area. With half the committee gone, the centre is in desperate need of more support. "The workload is much easier with ten people rather than only six", commented Community Services officer, Mr Ken Morton. Although the running of the Centre and other community activities take up much of the committee 's time, it also focuses on organising the school holiday programmes for the area. This involves finding activities to fill three days a week of the holidays and typicallyincludes a trip out of town on one of those days each week. Turn to page 2
