Waiouru
• On 27 January police attended a non-injury motor vehicle crash near the Waikato Stream. A northbound car lost control on a bend and slid into the side of a south-bound car. • On 29 January a large amount of clothing, a chainsaw and other property was reported stolen fromtheTangiwai Sawmill. • On the morning of 1 February, fire appliances attended a house fire in Waiouru. No one was reported injured and police are treating the case of the fire as suspicious.
