Waiouru
• A Hastings man is to appear in the Taihape District Court Monday, after a confrontation outside the Oasis Hotel on Saturday night. A firearm was seized by Police and further charges are pending. • Police are investigating the theft of boating accessories from an Army Training Group garage, some time between May and November. • A 15-year old runaway from Palmerston North was located at Waiouru by Police on the weekend. The teenager had been missing since the beginning of the month. • Waiouru Police attended a non-injury motor vehicle accident on State Highway 49 south of Irirangi last week.
The vehicle rolled and went through a fence after the dri ver suffered an epileptic fit.
