Waiouru weather is definitely warming up with a high of 20. 1 degrees Celsius being recorded on 24 September. On 29 September the coldest day was recorded at a miserable 7.1°C. The average maximum temperature for the month was 13.1° and the average minimum was 3.31. Very light frosts were recorded sporadically throughout the month with the lowest grass minimum registering in at minus 6.7° on 1 September. The lowest overnight temperature of minus 3.2° was also recorded on 1 Septemebr. Rainfall for the month was 90.4 millimetres.
