More bounce back support

King Country Energy has announced that it would provide $5000 support to the Ruapehu/ Lake Taupo Bounce Back promotion campaign. General Manager, Peter Till, described the campaign as "a positive step toward restoring confidence in Ruapehu' s tourism industry." "It is important that, as 'a significant energy supplier, we support the efforts of an industry that has provided economic growth to the region as a whole and to this company," said Mr Till. Mayor Weston Kirton said KCE's support would greatly assist the campaign' s media exposure'and distribution. "It is very humbling to achieve support from a wide variety of corporate organisations. This contribution is very significant and is further evidence of the feeling that both the Ruapehu and Taupo District councils acted the best way they could to restore confidence in our region as a visitor destination," said Mr Kirton.
