Vandals at work while friend ill

Vandals who ran amok in the courtyard garden of the Waimarino Health Centre Sunday last week have left staff in despair, especially as they believe the culprits were visiting a patient. Plants were kicked over and stomped on and a trellis fence kicked down. Staff said they cannot understand how someone could do such a thing to the hospital, when their friend or relative was being cared for by the hospital. Also a mystery is how the others of the group who were visiting could sit back and allow it to happen.
