Clydesdales calling

The DB Draught Clydesdales six-horse team will be at Taumarunui Thursday and Friday, 22-23 August. The equine giants, considered by many to be the finest Clydesdale display team in the country, will be on show at Liquorland on Thursday afternoon and visitors will have the opportunity to meet each horse and have photos taken with them. On Friday they will trek through town, leaving Taumarunui Primary School at 10.30am, completing a circuit of schools and main streets before returningto Liquorland at 1 .00pm, where they will again be available for visiting during the afternoon. TheDB Draught Clydesdales' supportband, the Drafters, will also be in town, playing at the Mananui Club and the Taumarunui Cosmopolitan Club.
