Refuse Disposal Change In Landfill Opcning Hoars From Monday 22 July 1996 until further notice the hours of opening at Ohakune Landfill will be as follows: From 22 July 1996 to 30 September: Monday to Sunday — 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. Froml Octoberto 30 June: Sunday to Friday — 1 2 noon to 5.30 pm, extending to 6.00 pm during daylight saving. Saturday — 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, extending to 6.00 pm during daylight saving. Closed Christmas Day. From Monday 22 July the hours of opening at Raetihi Landfill will be as follows: Monday to Friday — 1 2 noon to 5.30 pm, extending to 6.00 pm during daylight saving. Saturday and Sunday — 9.00 am to 5.30 0m, extending to 6.00 pm during daylight saving. Closed Christmas Day. Schedule of Trade Refuse Charges The refuse charges do not apply to normal domestic refuse. Trade refuse includes any scrap or waste material resulting from the carrying on of any business, manufacture, process, trade, market or other undertaking. The charges will apply from Monday 22 July 1996. TRADE REFUSE DISPOSAL GST INCLUSIVE CarBoot $5.00 Station wagon, utility, van, car and trailer (up to 2.4m x 1.3m x 0.3m) $10.00 Large trailer, truck, bins $10.00 per m3 Compact refuse $20.00 per rrf Special waste — by arrangement Car bodies — semi stripped $35.00 Car bodies — stripped $20.00 A minimum charge of $5.00 applies. The compacted refuse rate applies to refuse compacted by mechanical means. THURSDAY KERBSIDE REFUSE C0LLECTI0N The Thursday kerbside collection of refuse in Raetihi and Ohakune will cease at the end of September 1996. MONDAY KERBSIDE REFUSE COLLECTION The Monday kerbside refuse collection will continue to operate. Refuse contained in up to five official refuse bags may be put out on the kerb for removal. Closure of Road to Ordinary Vehicular Troffic Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that for that for the purpose of the Wanganui Car Club holding Special Stage Five of Round Three of the Central Region Rally Championships, the following road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. Raetihi-Pipiriki Road, from Pipiriki towards Raetihi, 13.2 km to the Mangoihe Stream Bridge, on Saturday 10 August 1996, between the hours of 10.30 am and 2.30 pm. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure. Meeting Cancellation Waiouru Community Board The Waiouru Community Board meeting scheduled to be held on Monday, 12 August 1996, at the Waiouru Primary School has been cancelled. '
