Central Zone Team Eliminations Ohakune has entered four teams in the zone team eliminations this weekend. This is the first time team have been entered from the Waimarino district. A Womens D grade team will compete at Fielding. A Mens E grade team will compete at Palmerston. A Womens F grade and a Mens F grade team will compete here at Ohakune who are hosting the F grade eliminations. Any team that wins a central districts elimination competition then travels to the National teams event in

October as the central districts representatiye. This would be an added bonus for the local teams who have entered for the first time. Local matches in the F grade eliminations are as follows: Friday 7.00 pm Ohakune Mens vs Kaweroa Park; Ohakune Women vs Stratford. Saturday 10.00 am Ohakune Mens vs Wanganui. Saturday 3.00 pm Ohakune Men vs Taihape; Ohakune Women vs Wanganui.
