Cossie Club 'Five Games' tourney ends
The Raetihi Cosmopolitan Club held their five games tournament recently , over a period of a few weeks. Games included billiards, snooker, 8-ball, darts and table tennis. Winners of the various events were: Darts; 1 st Noni Brown, 2nd DeniseHerewini. Billiards; lst Bully Chambers, 2nd
Tania Herewini. Snooker; lstTrevorFredricksen, 2nd Goose Grossart. 8-Ball; lst Trevor Fredricksen, 2nd Denise Herewini. Table Tennis; lst Neville Bing, 2nd Goose Grossart. Overall winner: Trevor Fredricksen. The club is also running a card game competition
over a period of a few weeks. Results: Winners of the 500 card game; lst Leslie and Tiger Todd, 2nd Barry Reid and Rex Prince. Singles: lst Dick Carmichael, 2nd Mike McDonough. Euchre: Pairs Margie Hall and Faith Wise. Runners up: Barry Reid and Denise Herewini.
