Dollars for scholars

A Waimarino school could win $50,000 and local Caltex manager Ken Summerhays of Caltex Raetihi is giving them that chance. Schools throughout New Zealand will share $ 1 50,000 in the 1 996 Caltex Dollars for Scholars programme with one school winning $50,000. "The support the programme re-

ceived in 1995 was tremendous. More than 75% of all New Zealand schools participated and well over 200,000 entries were received," said Ken. "This year the winning school will recei ve $50,000 and 100 other schools will received $1000 each. In addition, this year the customer whose name is on the entry form of the school

that wins the $50,000 will win a cash prize of $1000 for themselves." "Until 29 July for each $20 a customer spends they'll be asked to enter their favoured school." "Customers can enter their school at any participating Caltex station. All entries go into a police-su-pervised draw on 12 August."
