Waiouru

• It has been a busy week on the roads with closures of the Desert Road and several crashes. There was a non-injury crash of SH1 Irirangi Hill, one on the Desert Road and two near the western end of the Winstones straight, SH49. Most of these resulted from a combi nation of speed and icy roads.
