No support, no services
# A big hand must go out to Joe for his comments
regarding Waiouru business support. Good one Joe, you've hit the nail on the head. We, the owners of small businesses in the Community Centre agree fully with your comments. Unfortunately freedom of speech could jeopardise our futures. As our loyalties lie within the Army environment we are known to sponsor different units with raffles, wine, foodstuffs etc whencalled upon. We would -like to see the same support extended to us. Some of our businesses struggle from week to week to make ends meet. Sometimes without pay because of the lack of support. We're here as a service and without these services the community as a whole would suffer. That is a well-known fact — with the loss of the chemist shop. Maybe the Army should remember this and look after the businesses in the Community Centre ~ it would provide better relations between all persons concerned.
