Applicant: Mere Kuao Ahu Whenua Trust (M K Trust) Proposal: To excavate and cart away up to 20,000m3 per year of river shingle off Murimoto 3B1 A2 Block VIII Karioi SD situated on SH49 Tangiwai. This consent is for a period not exceeding 25 years. If you wish to make a submission on this application you may do so by sending a written submission to the Ruapehu District Council, Private Bag 1001, Taumarunui 2600 no later than 4.00 pm on 12 June 1996. The submission must be dated, signed by you, and include the following information: 1. Your name, postal address, telephone number and facsimile number (if applicable). 2. A copy of your submission must be served as soon as reasonably practicable on the applicant, whose address for service is: Blance and Associates P0 Box 128 Taumarunui 1996/97 Draft finnual Plan Under the provisions of Section 223D of the Local Government Act 1574 the Council is required to prepare an Annual Plan which sets out for the 1996/97 financial year, the intended policies and objectives of the Council. The Plan also contains information about the money that will be spent and where the money comes from. Copies of the Draft Annual Plan are available for inspection at the offices of the Ruapehu District Council in Huia Street and Manuaute Street, Taumarunui; Miro Street, Ohakune; and Seddon Street, Raetihi. In addition they are available at public and community libraries in Ohura, Taumarunui, Ohakune, Raetihi and Waiouru. Interested citizens and organisations have until 4.00 pm on Friday 7 June 1996 to make a written submission on any aspect of the Plan. Last Day for Payment of Rates The Ruapehu District Council wishes to remind the ratepayers of the District that the last day for payment of the third instalment of rates for the 1.995/96 year will be Wednesday 22 May 1 996. Please note that any rates remaining unpaid after 4.00 pm on this day will incur a 10% additiona! charge.
