Waimarino darts

On Saturday 20 April a team of 10 went to Taumarunui, to try for the King Country Zone teams, to attend New Zealand championships to be held in Rotorua, 9-15 June. The club is pleased to say Kaylene Crossan made it onto the team. On Monday 22 April a doubles night was played and there was good competition. Greg Windle and Craig Dolman were the winners, with Dave Herewini and Arvell Wallace the runners-up. Greg won the high start, after a play-off with Stephen, with 120, he also took out the high score of 140 arter a play-off with Arvell and Stephen. Rosalind Foster was the winner of the high finish with 96. On Monday 30 May a singles night was played and Stephen Wallace was the winner with Micky Ahuriri therunner-up. The high start

of 180 went to Stephen and he also won the high finish of 100. This should have gone to Lou Most with 147 "if he wasn't so tight to put his money in". Rosalind Fos.ter got the high score of the 'Ultimate' 180.
