Bridge

There were 1 6 players at the first bridge evening (27 March) which was held-in the library at the college. In deep thought and concentration a voice piped up and said "Is it raining?" "No", said a deep voice, "it is a frost". Concentration for a moment flew out of the door. Results for the night were: N/S 1st H Cranston/ R Martin 63.33%, 2nd J Eades/S Eades 58.33%; E / W lst E Goldfinch/R Kaiwhare 63.33%, 2nd G Drayton/M Hays 53.33%. Anyone wanting to learn to play bridge should phone either B Eades (385-81 19) or R Martin (385-8531).
