• Police are investigating the burglary of the Power Haus, situated in Mangawhero Terrace, Ohakune, some time between 4 and 9 February. In their unsuccessful attempts to gain entry to the main building the-offenders caused damage to the spa area. A second attempt saw damage to a rear door. Several items of bed linen were taken. • A 38-year-old Raetihi man was arrested for trespass during the early hours of Tuesday 6 February, following an incident at a Waiouru adress. • National Park police are investigating the theft of a back pack from a vehicle parked in the car park of the Lake Rotopounamu walk off State Highway 47, National Park. The pack contained clothing worth $1000.
