The pulpmill located on the Southern side of Mt Ruapehu is a continuous process exporting product throughout Asia. We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Superintendent at the Pulp Mill site. The successful applicant will preferably have a background in Pulp and Paper and possess a tertiary qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering. Good communication and computer skills will be a basic requirement. Responsibilities and functions of the position will be, • Overseeing a laboratory operation • Technical and Q. C. support. • Supporting the operation of the Pulp Bleaching and Effluent Treatment plants. • Process and machine performance trailing, • Ensuring accurate pulp and process data recording and retrieval.
