Book fair raises $2500

The Waiouru school book fair held last week netted over $2500, which means the school's two libraries will equally share about $1200 worth of free books. "It's been a good year. We had over $2000 at the last one. The lady asked me if we'd made over $500," book fair organiser Shonagh MacGibbon laughed. This is Mrs MacGibbon' s ninth Ashton Scholastic book fair and this time around the Goosebump series proved the most popular she said. Around 70 million copies have sold in the USA.
