Lorne to Tdupos Santa Parade this Saturday "A great family day out" is how Taupo Santa Parade and Carnival Day organiser John Burnside describes this Saturday's events in Taupo. The parade is set to start at 1 pm from the grass area beside the Mini-goif course on the main road (Lake Terrace), (t will travel along the waterfront and past the Great Lake Centre coming to rest at the adjoining reserve, bordering Redoubt St. Once the parade reaches itsfinishing pointthe Carnival Day activities will begin. Along with over 70 stalls there will be the usual rides and sideshows and, in a specially created arena, there will be displays from motorcycle clubs and teams competitions in special fun logging events. Entertainment will continue all afternoon until approximately 4pm.
