•Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a Queen Street, Raetihi address between 6pm and 1 1pm on 12 November. The vehicle was later recovered in Wanganui. •The drivers of two vehicles involved in a collision at the intersection of Miro and Ayr Streets, Ohakune, were fortunate to escape with no injuries. The accident occurred shortly before 9pm on 5 November, when the driver of one of the vehicles failed to give way.

•Offenders broke into a Matai Street, Ohakune, chalet sometime between 1 October and 7 November, and removed several items of property. Items taken included a portable television and bed linen. Police enquiries are continuing into the break-in. •Police arrested a local man for driving with excess breath alcohol at Horopito on the weekend. he will be appearing in the Ohakune District Court on 16 November to face charges.
