Raetihi groundsman has moved on

Raetihi School staff farewelled Pine Wilson on 27 October. Pine had been working for the school as their groundsman for three years. At a morning tea shout, Grant Fountain, the school' s principal, thanked Pine for his input and went on to say that Mr Wilson was always reliable and that as a new member of staff himself, he (Mr Fountain), was appreciative of the support and assistance Mr Wilson gave him as to where things were, how they worked and generally how the school functioned physically. Mr Wilson was presented with a gift voucher on behalf of the staff, with the board of trustees and the friends of Raetihi School (PTA) putting on the morning tea shout. Mr Wilson left the school to work in agriculture and forestry at Karioi.
