National award to Ohakune business woman

The general manager of a local business, Turoa Cafeterias Ltd, was named Pacific Island person of the year at the Pacific Island Business Awards made in Auckland last Thursday night. Ms Jane Davies won a trophy and a $5000 development grant. The company operates three cafeterias on the Turoa Skifield as well as a pizza bar in Ohakune during the ski season.
