After six years as a guide leader Shonagh MacGibbon has been presented her warrant as district commissioner for the Guiding movement in Waiouru. Atthesametime she was presented a good service badge from the Manawatu provincial commissioner Janice Williamson at Arahina in Marton. About 40 girls in Waiouru are involved in Guides, Brownies and Pippins and Mrs MacGibbon has a plea. "I need some new leaders. I'm losing my Pippin leader and guide leader unfortunately."
