A certain ex-Navy man recently visited one of his fellow Raetiheathans in hospital, taking with him a bottle of genuine Navy rum (about 1,000% proof!). When he arrived at the hospital he discovered that yet another well-known identity from Raetihi was sharing the same ward with the patient he had gone to see. It wasn't long before both patients were sharing not only the same ward but the same bottle.
