GOSSIP
Gossip. Years past it was said that Gossip was the main recreational pastime in Ohakune. Things are different now (aren't they?). If you have snippets about friends that deserve a mention in the Bulletin's Gossip column (nothing malicious please), call us, 06-385-8532. This week's offerings are from the people who whack little white balls around paddocks: Back bite All golfers know the impgrtance of having the right equipment and it is easy to imagine someone being very upset at leaving a favourite club at home. But recently one golfer we know of who was heading out of town for a
special game had to head back home for that most important of pieces of golfing equipment — her teeth! Double discourtesy A certain Parapara lady experienced a double discourtesy recently, at the Wanganui Dublin Street Bridgeroundabout. A car from her left failed to give way and she thought "the usual things" about him, then made sure she got behind him. But a few seconds later she was rammed from behind. She got out of the car and started telling the driver what she thought of his driving ability, when the driver from the car in front (he had stopped too) started with his 10 cents' worth. She told him to keep quiet as it had nothing to do with him. He replied that it did have something to do with him as he was towing the car that had rammed her!
