Regional bid good experience
Standing for regional council in 1989 June polled well but was defeated and threw her energies into being a contributor to local causes. During this period she advanced her career as a tutor and lectured on local government structures, the Town and Country Planning Act and legislative changes. She also completed a Bachelor of Education extramurally. Since 1986 June has attended many regional, borough and county council and community meetings
