Car boot cash for Raetihi school trip

Raetihi Primary School held a car boot sale and stalls last week to raise funds for the senior school' s annual trip away, this year to Tauranga and Rotorua. One class will also be spending more time in and around Taupo, camping out and tramping. The classCs involved are Std 4, Form 1 and Form 2 with teachers Alison McGregor, Bruce Francis and David Fisher. If time allows, it is hoped that the school

can organise one more fund raising event before their trip away. Mrs McGregor said the funds raised were around $500. She said that many families find it difficult to find the money themselves, particulary when there is more than one child involved. If there is to be another fund raiser nOtice will go out parents in the normal way- via the news letter or with a note home to parents.
