Children’s art

The children' s' art exhibition which was displayed at the Ohakune Primary School in conjunction with the Ohakune Art Awards has been very well received says school principal Ellen Gould. The children's art exhibition is creative and a lot of potential and talent is showing through. Ellen says several visitors have been so impressed they have wanted to buy some of the pictures. However, none of the pictures in the exhibition were meant for sale and it is yet to be decided whether they will be sold, says Ellen. She said special mention should be made of Elayne Weller and Lorna Kramer for the time they spent in preparing mountings for the art on display.
