The Grand Chateau has been granted accreditation to the New Zealand Way, a benchmark quality standard for New Zealand companies.
General Manager Chris Griffin says the accreditation is a great result for the hotel, and demonstrates the high level of commitment by staff and management towards providing a top quality product for the hotel's customers. The accreditation is judged on various criteria, including physical appearance, the quality of systems and procedures in all aspects of the hotel's daily
management and how the business relates to its environment. "It's marked on the quality of the whole picture", says Chris. "I think we've achieved that level, and it's a wonderful benchmark of quality for the hotel to maihtain and improve on." The accreditation is a step towards achieving the hotel's vision as the best resort in New Zealand.
