Council to gather protest cash

Ruapehu folk have an easy way to make a contribution to the protest against the French nuclear tests at Mururoa, scheduled for September. Ruapehu mayor Garrick Workman has arranged for any donations received to be forwarded to Barry Keon in Auckland, who is organising the protest flotilla to Mururoa. Donations can be left at the service centres in Raetihi and Ohakune, or at the main office in Taumarunui.
