Roanne Hepi, of the Oasis Hotel, is pictured with some of the children who will benefit from donations to the Waiouru kindergartens. Through the hotel the kindergartens have received $1000 each from Pub Charity. The donation to Weir Terrace Kindergarten will be used to update and extend the library of books and puzzles. Keningston Kindergarten's grant will go towards enclosing some of the verandah, enabling outdoor activities like carpentry to take place throughout the winter. Mrs Hepi said that the hotel is pleased to be able to help the children of Waiouru.
