Safety message engrosses

Ronald McDonald had the full attention of children when he visited the Waimarino on Friday as part of a fourday traffic safety campaign. He entertained children from Waiouru Daycare, Weir Terrace and Kenningston Kindergartens. Children from Ohakune and Waiouru Primary Schools also met Ronald as he spread the message of road safety for young children. Perhaps Ronald' s most famous line is "Make it click" — do up your safety belt, and the children certainly knew this one. Other safety tips varied for different ages but through convenient memory loss, singing and joking Ronald McDonald made road safety fun.
