NOTICES SALE OF LIQUOR ACT 1989 SECTION 9 (4) Turoa Ski Resort Limited has made application to the Ruapehu Licensing Agency at Taumarunui for the grant of an OnLicence in respect of the premises situated at Turoa, Mt Ruapehu and known as the Snowflake Cafe. The general nature of the business to be conducted under the Licence is a Restaurant. It is intended to sell and supply liquor to persons present on the premises for the purpose of dining and to any other person who is present on the premises. The days on which and the hours during which liquor is intended to be sold underthe licence are -fromMondaytoSunday inclusive from 1 May to 30 November between the hours of 1 0 a.m. and 6p.m. The Application may be inspected during the ordinary office hours at the office of the District Licensing Agency at the Ruapehu District Council, Taumarunui. Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the grant of the application may, not later than 10 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Agency at Private Bag 1001, Taumarunui. HUNTING PROGRAMME 1995 From 9 May 1995 the Department of Conservation is carrying out its annual wild animal control programme along the Whanganui River trench from Atene to Taumarunui. Included in this programme are parts of the Whanganui National Park, plus scenic reserves and conservation stewardship lands in the Kirikau/Te Maire, Ohura, Retaruke/ Kaitieke and Mangatiti/Ruatiti areas. Hunting will concentrate on goat populations. However domestic stock encountered in these areas after 9 May be destroyed, sold or otherwise disposed of as per Section 96 (2) Reserves Act, Section 36 (3) Conservation Act and Section 62 (3) National Parks Act.
