Crafts group grows

If you live in Waiouru and you're into crafts or turning your hand to new things, keep Thursday momings free. Up to 30 women with thelf children get together at 10am each week to chat and participate in the different crafts and activities the group provides. The friendship group used to be held in someone' s home, but has grown so large they now meet in the old Postbank building (next to Collective Thinking). Children have a large separate area to play in and a few women provide supervision while tired mums take time out for a quiet cup of tea. There is no charge to go along to the friendship group although there are charges for some craft materials if you participate.
