Waiouru RSA Darts

Tuesday 1 1 April. With so many players, 301 doubles, flying start, double finish was the game of the

evening. The winners were Teresa and Luana. High score went to Brian 1 40 x 2; Michael 140; andMarianna 135. High finish also went to B ri an 1 03 . The prize was a meal voucher from The Desert Inn. Some of the highlights of the evening were; Larry announced players in playing order as Mat and Pal, sorry Pat and Mai. Larry called for team three, Larry and Karen (his wife) instead of his playing partner Sue. Lyn's flight came off her dart and after severai players spent five minutes looking for the stem, which was found in the wall behind the chalk board. Mai, playing on board three, stepped up to board four's hockey aiming to score double one. When informed of his mistake he took one step to the left, threw his dart and scored double one on the correct board! Brian threw a dart, it bounced off, and Luana got the point. Mark lost his flight and after a few players spent a couple of minutes looking for it, Mark found his flight in his hand. Comingevents: Committee meeting Sunday 23 Apri 1 1 1 am in the Waiouru RSA. All dart club members are welcome. As ANZAC Day falls on Tuesday 25 April darts will be held on Monday 24 April instead.
