Ohakune Bowling
The closing day tournament on Sunday sponsored by Harcourts attracted seven teams of rinks. Winners were Pauline Le Noel, Harry Brown, Bill Parker and Gibert Lawrence. Runners up were Rita Kaiwhare, Bob McGuiness and ray Hall. Merrilyn George, playing for Wanganui in the inter provincial competition against Taranaki Juniors last week, won all three games 21-7, 21-4, 21-4, and was part of the Wanganui team which won the overall competition with eleven games points and a 140 differential.
