On Sunday 9 April the club had 26 starters tee off in the wind and rain, many of whom had played the previous day in similar conditions. The parr round for men and stableford round for ladies sponsored by Peach Cornwall Accountants of Raetihi. Ladies results: 1 st Glenda Whale 36; 2nd Pauline Mowatt 36; 3rd Sarah Lind 35. Juniors: 1st J Whale +2; 2nd R Munn -1; 3rd M Hays -1. Seniors: 1st G Imhoff +3; 2nd P Goldfinch +2; 3rd J Purnell +1. The Roarers mug was won by Garry Imhoff. The lucky number was not claimed this week. W. McDonnell. Next week an Eater Parr round on Saturday and a Medal round on Sunday. Andrew Condon had bar duty.
