Tainui Street a centre of effort

Work is progressing on Tainui Street, Ohakune, on two projects. One contractor is extending the stormwater pipe near the College and is expected to have completed the work by mid-April, Another contractor is constructing footpaths in the same area and this work is also expected

to be completed in mid April. The Council was able to extend the scope of the footpath construction contract to meet up with the existing section near the college. This follows publicity in the Ruapehu Bulletin earlier this year.
